STINKY FEET THEATRE PROJECT

About the Program

The Stinky Feet Theatre Project is a magical introduction to the world of acting for budding young performers. In this program, under the talented direction of Wynsum Jo Kearns (Patti Strickland’s apprentice from years prior), students learn how to express themselves and have fun, bringing their own unique voice and personality to the process of creating a show. Young artists are taught to work together creatively, learning to respect everyone’s contribution, no matter how small or big! In the first two weeks, rehearsals are divided into two age groups which meet Monday through Friday, with weekends and Monday, June 24 off. The younger group (ages 5 to 7) meet from 10 am until noon. The older group (students 8 to 11) meet from noon until 4 pm. During these hours, each group works on their part of a 40-minute version of this Disney hit! At the end of two weeks, the two groups come together for three live performances for family, friends…and anyone else who buys a ticket! No audition is necessary for this program.

About the Show

You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the celebrated animated film. Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, friendship, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. This production of Disney’s Frozen Kids is sure to prove that “some people are worth melting for.” Roles are cast during the first week of rehearsals.
