How does the seating work?
The theatre is outdoors on a grassy hillside in Ojai – the perfect setting for a picnic! Since there is no designated seating, seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Access to the hillside opens at 7 p.m. Please bring your own picnic blanket or a low-backed chair to spread out. A very limited number of chairs will be available for sponsors and individuals with physical disabilities who have confirmed availability at the time of purchase. We ask that you observe a no-alcohol policy when attending on of the Summer Youth performances. Because our handicapped accessible seating is so limited at this venue, please call Guest Services at (805) 667-2900 to book those seats by phone, rather than booking through our website.
Is there parking?
Yes, parking is available. As you enter the Villanova Preparatory Campus, you will be directed to the Student Parking Lot to the right, where there are plenty of spaces. There will be a separate handicapped drop-off location closer to the theatre for those patrons who need assistance, or those who are unable to climb stairs. Please note that there are 34 stairs to climb from the Student Parking lot, followed by a short walk to the amphitheatre.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the pandemic, we request that patrons maintain a safe distance in all areas. To make this more comfortable, we are limiting seating to 200 per performance. Attendees who are not vaccinated may be required to sit in specific areas.
