Back by popular demand! This concert event originally aired on July 2 as a thoughtful reflection of our times – of American ideas and ideals in all their heartachingly painful, beautiful, messy, noble, complicated glory – as expressed and performed by more than 85 diverse artists, including favorite Rubicon actors and singers, Broadway veterans, and stars of the pop and folk world. Special guests include Noel Paul Stookey and Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul and Mary), Voices of Service (from “America’s Got Talent”), Tony Winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, Drama Desk Award-winner Lauren Patten, Latinx Broadway, The Lonesome Travelers and more! Songs include “America the Beautiful” with new additional lyrics by Noel Paul Stookey, “Rise,” “This Land is Your Land” and “Beautiful City”; with the poetry of Maya Angelou, Gregory Djanikian, John Haines, Langston Hughes, Emma Lazarus, Walt Whitman, and others!
