We recognize that some students and their families, particularly during this challenging time, may need assistance in order to participate in Rubicon’s summer programs.
Over the years, with the help of generous individuals in our community, we have been dedicated to making sure that no student is turned away because of financial need. There are several types of support available:
Scholarships – Full or partial scholarships are awarded by a confidential volunteer committee based on financial need. Once the committee meets to review the requests and a decision has been made, a member will contact the applicant’s parent or guardian to let them know the amount that has been awarded. A courtesy invoice with the adjusted amount will be issued. If a partial scholarship is given, a payment plan may be arranged; however full payment of the invoice must be made before the first day of class.
Work-Study – If you or your student do not qualify for a scholarship, Rubicon also offers a work-study program. Students in one program may take on specific assignments supporting their own class or related to other summer programs. Tasks may range from administrative to marketing and public relations to production.
If you, or if someone you know, would like to be a part of Summer 2020, and does not have the means, please complete the form below. A confidential volunteer committee reviews the applications and then notifies the parent or guardian, or the student directly if appropriate, of the amount.
