Under the direction of award-winning director/actor Brian McDonald, Rubicon education programs have touched the lives of over 40,000 students.

An extension of Rubicon’s mission to enrich, entertain and educate the region’s residents and visitors, Rubicon Theatre Company’s Education and Outreach programs strive to:

Serve students ages 5 and up with after-school, weekend and performace programs, including Acting Classes, Master Classes and our Summer Theatre Program with theatre professionals.

 

Expose students to the excitement of live theatre through Student Matinees, study guides and post-play discussions.

 

Provide practical work opportunities in all facets of the theatre: playwriting, dramaturgy, acting, directing, design, technical theatre and administration (management, producing, marketing, public relations, promotions and fundraising).
